National Service Hard at Work in Sandy's Aftermath

Many members of the national service family are hard at work in areas stricken by Hurricane Sandy, providing services that keep the recovery moving forward. Check out some scenes from the work we captured recently in New York and New Jersey.

As of Nov. 10, more than 1,028 national service members were deployed and serving across the northeast region working in shelter operations, relief services, supply distribution, call centers, and other support services. Hundreds more Corporation for National and Community Service members remain on standby to assist when the call comes.

Watch the videos below to see how national service is helping with the continuing Hurricane Sandy relief effort.
