Beytien, a graduate of Dubuque Senior High School, has a variety of skills, but his parents, Craig and Alyson Beytien, knew he probably wasn't well-suited for a 9-to-5 working environment. Then in his senior year, Josh landed an AmeriCorps position at the Dubuque Center for History at Loras College and discovered a new area of interest and proficiency: scanning and cataloging images and documents.
