Highlights from the 2013 September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance

Americans from around the country commemorated the 12th anniversary of the September 11th attacks with prayer, reflection, and remembrance.

Like thousands of Americans, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama also marked the day with service. President Obama volunteered next to an AmeriCorps member in Washington, DC!

Here, we share a few snapshots of the good work that individuals all over the country accomplished. Thank you for your service!
